Acting as Arbitrator

Around fifty appointments by 2016

Towards the end of twenty years of experience as legal advisor to parties in international arbitrations, John saw an increasing number of arbitration appointments whilst still leading the regional arbitration group within his then law firm.  This has developed into several years experience of appointments as sole, panel and presiding arbitrator on SIAC, SCMA, ICC, LMAA, UNCITRAL and ad hoc references.  He accepts appointments from arbitration institutions and appointing authorities, as well as nominations directly from parties, and their lawyers.
