By 2012 at around twenty years of experience as legal advisor to parties in international arbitrations, John saw an increasing number of arbitration appointments whilst still leading the regional arbitration group within his then law firm.
By 2020 a decade of appointments as sole, panel and presiding arbitrator on SIAC, SCMA, ICC, LMAA, UNCITRAL LCIA and other.
John accepts appointments from arbitration institutions, appointing authorities, and partly constituted tribunals, as well as nominations directly from parties, and their lawyers.
As well as English law, many of the contracts in dispute are subject to Singapore law.
